Documented iOS method

Set up Surge 5.

Surge is a third-party network utility. Check its current feature access and in-app purchase terms in the App Store before beginning.

Open Surge 5 in the App StorePublished by Surge Networks Inc.

Install and open Surge 5
Use the official App Store listing above. This guide is written for Surge 5; menu names can change between app versions.
Open Profiles
In Surge, go to its profile management screen and choose the option to download or add a profile from a URL.
Paste the Firefly profile URL
Copy the visible URL above, paste it into Surge, and confirm the import.
Select the imported profile
Make the Firefly profile the active profile in Surge.
Enable Surge
Turn the Surge connection on. iOS will ask permission to add a VPN configuration the first time; approve it only if you intend to use this profile.
Open Growtopia
Keep Surge active, launch Growtopia, and sign in normally.

Finish and remove

Check the VPN state.

You are connected when

iOS shows an active VPN state, Surge shows the Firefly profile as active, and Growtopia opens the Firefly server.

To disable or remove it

Turn Surge off when you finish. To remove the setup, delete the imported Firefly profile in Surge and remove its VPN configuration in iOS Settings if you no longer use Surge.

Troubleshooting

If Growtopia does not connect.

Confirm the Firefly profile, not another Surge profile, is selected.
Confirm iOS still shows the Surge VPN as active before opening Growtopia.
Turn Surge off and on, then fully close and reopen Growtopia.
Do not enter your Growtopia password into Surge or this website.

After setup

Keep Surge active and open the game.

This is a Firefly gameplay preview, not a Surge screenshot. An active VPN state plus a Firefly world means the profile is doing its job.
